Trump's Family Member Receives Expert Guidance from Golf Legend Woods Before Professional Golf Debut
The rising star has considerable online presence
The young golfer will have numerous high-profile backers when she starts her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who happens to be connected to a former US president, was granted a tournament invitation to participate at the Annika tournament in Florida.
The former president, an avid golfer, owns several international courses and frequently plays against his granddaughter.
"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we have tight competitions," she revealed.
Kai explained that her grandfather, unable to come, counseled her: "Just stay calm."
"He basically advised me to play and have fun," she added.
"From my perspective, he's simply an ordinary family member. He won't be there this weekend. He's busy with presidential duties, so he's somewhat preoccupied."
As an amateur, Kai has played in a mere three competitions in 2024 and holds ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association listings.
But she can receive tips from golf legend, romantically involved with Kai's mother.
"He represents the greatest golfer worldwide," Kai expressed.
"And he's a more impressive human being. He told me to go out there, enjoy myself, and go with whatever happens."
The golfer will compete against several the biggest names in women's golf at this tournament, such as second-ranked Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.
Officials mentioned that involving Kai exposes the sport to different demographics, specifically among the next generation.
The social media influencer maintains substantial online presence and recently launched her own fashion and living brand.
The competition starts at 17:30 GMT.
